Amy Harvey embarked on a 16-year career in television as a writer and producer before moving back to Arizona with her husband to work in their family real estate business.
Amy’s ability to get to the heart of her clients needs and making things happen for them is a skill she honed while working with so many different people all over the world.
She began her career overseas in Brussels, Belgium with the British-based newsfeed, Reuters Television. With Reuters, Amy worked in Belgium, The Netherlands, Finland, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong and eventually Washington, D.C.
She interviewed and produced pieces on politicians like Bill Clinton, humanitarians like Bishop Desmond Tutu, while also covering various human interest stories, such as families adopting children with HIV in Europe and the North Korean nuclear talks in Asia.
Amy’s career took a change which allowed her to spend time in the world of celebrities and rock stars as a producer for VH1 and E! News. This gave her a wide variety of experience dealing with strong personalities and learning to cope with stressful and demanding situations. One of those defining career moments was helping to produce VH1’s “The Concert for New York City” after the 9/11 attacks.
Amy has challenged herself to learn all she can about real estate so she can be the most knowledgeable for her clients. She enjoys the satisfaction of helping her clients get exactly what they want, whether selling or buying a home.
Outside of work, Amy cherishes her time with her husband Scott and their 3-year-old daughter Grace, traveling, exercising and writing.
