Originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota, Katie took the long road to real estate. Growing up in the world of hospitality in a 3rd generation steak house, the skills of customer service and attention to detail became second nature. Working with people to give them the best experience possible became her passion. Relating with customers and elevating their experiences was the most rewarding part of the business. She now considers them “gifts” more than skills.
After graduating from The University of St. Thomas in St Paul, Minnesota, with a degree in education, Katie continued the long road to real estate with excursions in teaching 1st and 2nd grade and working with children with special needs. This journey eventually brought her to Arizona 20 years ago, where she raised four children, a job where you lose your mind but find your soul. She has been involved with fund raising for SARRC and the “Think Aspergers” campaign, while helping other families navigate a new diagnosis and helping them find necessary services and resources. She has a passion for working with the elderly as well. She views volunteering as a privilege; a place to share her gifts and be enlightened by others.
Katie has watched many friends succeed in real estate, realizing it is another form of hospitality – a career where she can have the joy of meeting new people every day and helping them have the best experience they can have. Her motto is “There is no traffic in the extra mile.” She looks forward to applying a lifetime of service and relationship building to making her own dreams come true.
“There is an energy at Arizona Best that is palpable….. positive people who love what they do”
